Cardiocom
develops, manufactures, and markets the entire Telemonitoring System,
assuring you the highest quality, lowest cost products and services
Cardiocom Multi-Disease Management is a world-class, experienced
provider of remote telemonitoring systems.
Founded in 1997 by Louis C. Cosentino, Ph.D., Cardiocom Multi-Disease
Management addresses the needs of chronically ill patients and reduces
medical costs by combining leading edge, vital sign telemonitoring
with personal nursing services. The founders of the company have
more than 75 medical device patents and more than 65 years of combined
experience in the fields of medical technology, development, manufacturing
and marketing. Our strong investment in new technologies means that
our customers will benefit from unique features not found in other
remote monitoring systems.
Cardiocom is the only fully vertically integrated company offering
beginning-to-end services from a single site. Clients benefit from
our tightly integrated disease management programs, hardware and
software product design, testing, manufacturing, nurse call center
services, outcomes study design, reporting and customer support.
This vertical integration ensures our customers the highest quality,
custom telehealth solutions at the lowest cost.
Cardiocom is in its fourth generation of internally developed remote
monitoring devices. Cardiocom is the direct manufacturer and not
just an "assembler" of third party components. The Company
designs and manufactures its own telehealth system, medical weight
scale, blood pressure measurement device and blood glucose management
system.
In 2006, Cardiocom announced the development of the GlucoCom™
System, a blood glucose meter with a telemonitoring system for diabetes
management. No other company offers a similar product for low-cost
daily blood glucose monitoring with trended reporting. Cardiocom's
investment in new, patented technologies means that our customers
benefit from unique features not found in other telehealth systems.
Cardiocom compliments these new technology offerings with a sound
disease management program using evidence based medicine and clinical
practice guidelines from the American Diabetes Association, American
Heart Association and other pertinent professional societies or
quality of care organizations. Cardiocom will customize its clinical
program to meet any guidelines or content required by our customers.
Cardiocom's unique products and methods are supported by issued
U.S. and foreign patents with continuations and new applications.
