Cardiocom Receives Patent on Two-way Communication For Remote Patient monitoring

MINNEAPOLIS – Cardiocom, a leader in disease management, has been awarded a new U.S. Patent No. 6,755,783 for two-way communication in a device for monitoring and communicating wellness parameters of ambulatory patients. Patients suffering from chronic diseases, such as heart failure, diabetes, COPD and obesity, will benefit from Cardiocom’s expanded patent coverage.

“This approval for two-way communication is one of a portfolio of patents Cardiocom has received for remote patient monitoring,” said Daniel Cosentino, president of Cardiocom. “This gives Cardiocom broad patent protection for our daily home patient monitoring and disease management system. We will continue to pursue new innovations in remote health monitoring and behavior modification.
